Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Scroll Filigree Charm Necklace with Ruby Colored Glass Stone

This is a small antique Victorian scroll-work filigree charm pendant. The Art Nouveau curlicues are typical of the Victorian period; this piece may originally have been part of a festoon necklace or other piece. The front center is set with a ruby-colored smooth high-domed stone; a metal ball drop hangs from the bottom edge. While appearing delicate in form, this charm is sturdy and well made and will continue to withstand the test of time.

CHAIN DETAILS: This charm ships on an 18" long necklace made from new 14k gold-filled fine, 1mm, flat wire curb chain. The toggle clasp closes in front and is a new, 14k gold-filled clasp. (Please note that while this chain and clasp are not vintage, we do have vintage options available; please email us for more information, additional sizes or if you would like to forgo the chain all together.)

CHARM DIMENSIONS: Approximately 7/8" tall x 7/8" wide x 1/8" deep (22 x 22 x 3mm)

CONDITION: This item has no markings, but appears to be silver. It has been left as found: with its own patina, in very good vintage condition with the oxidization and light surface wear commensurate with its age and which we feel adds to the character of the piece.
