Pink Deco pressed glass earrings.

These are incredibly beautiful and unique earrings made from circa 1920 pieces of pale pink pressed glass.  This technique of pressing hot glass into molds was popular in the late teens and early '20's, allowing the surface of glass to take on many complex decorative patterns that previously would have only been possible by carving.

This piece features a frosted circular section at its top which is detailed with round Art Deco flowers; in contrast, the rest of the oval is transparent and its borders are faceted for a cut crystal look.
