Long Tessellated Rhinestone Bib Statement Necklace.
This elaborately tessellated necklace is entirely composed of vintage ca. 1950 rhinestone spacers arranged in a repeating box pattern. Each box is connected painstakingly edge to edge and the borders are delicately linked by and suspended from fine skeins of vintage burnished curb chain which bind the edges of this lace-like fractal. This necklace is an example of our transforming an element which is usually just structural and sidelined, here a spacer usually playing only a supporting role, into the front and central focus of the design.
